The Main Bar displays your hole cards, making it easier for you to play multiple tables.
On the right side of the Main Bar, you will find the Group Diagram and the Rank Diagram.
Group Diagram: Starting hands (hole cards) are divided into 9 groups. Group “A” is the strongest; group “I” is the weakest. This starting hand analysis by David Sklansky is considered a standard in the poker world.

All the rest
Rank Diagram: This is another way to describe the strength of your hole cards. You’ll always see a number out of 169. 169 is the number of all possible hole card combinations in Texas Hold’em. Stronger starting hands are identified by a lower number. For example, 1/169 will be AA meaning you have the best starting hand.
At the center of the “Main Bar” you’ll see a “colored strip” for easy reference to your hand strength. The colored strip will change in length and color from a short red strip, indicating a weak hand, to a long green strip indicating a strong hand. The background color of the main bar also changes according to your hand’s strength.
Post Flop
When the Flop is dealt, we present two new diagrams on the right side of the Main Bar: “Win” and “Outs”.
The “Win” Diagram indicates your chances to win as percentages, if all players were to stay in until the end of the hand. The “Win” Diagram percentage is calculated based on your hole cards, the community cards, and the number of players in the hand.
The “Outs” Diagram presents your odds for drawing a card that will improve your hand (an “out”) on the Turn or the River.
As in the “Pre Flop” stage, the main bar displays additional visual cues such as “the colored strip“, the colored strip length and the textual advice to guide you towards the best play.
Ticker: On the bottom left corner of the main bar you’ll see a white ticker that will provide you with Tips and Alerts. The MagicHoldem Calculator will “tip” you as you play, if you have the possibility of a straight draw, flush draw or any other interesting draw. A tip will show in the Ticker area as blue text. In the same Ticker area, the MagicHoldem Calculator will also give you an alert, warning you about a flush draw or a straight draw that your opponent may have. An alert will be shown in the Ticker area as red text.
Left Bar
You Vs. Best
You Vs. Best displays your odds for a potential hand vs. your opponents’ odds for a potential hand.
You can take a look at this monitor as you play and find your odds to complete a better combination by the River. Next to your odds for completing a given hand, you can view your opponents’ odds of drawing the same hand by the River.
Pot Odds
The Pot Odds monitor displays:
- The Total pot – the amount of money in the pot
- The Max call – the maximum amount you should call based on your win odds and the amount in the pot
- The Pot odds Ratio – the ratio between the Size of the Pot and the Cost of the Call. The higher this ratio is, the better your pot odds are
Outs
The Outs Monitor will display any potential (not yet dealt) card that, if drawn, will improve your hand to one that is likely to win. The Outs Monitor will also give you the overall odds of drawing one of those hands. Whether you are drawing for a straight, flush or any other hand, the Outs Monitor will display the cards that can help you complete your drawing hand
Game Info
In this monitor you’ll get information regarding your current hand. This monitor includes:
- Your best hand combination
- Number of opponents: The number of players you are facing right now out of the number of players that started the hand.
Right Bar
Rival Catch
This monitor will display your opponents’ odds of having a specific card in their hand.
